Marilyn has a love for the Lord, her family, her friends, and her community. Mixed in the middle of all of that is her love for 4-H! For Marilyn, "Making the Best Better" is not just a 4-H motto, it is a lifestyle. Whether it is through her work or play, or even teaching a new skill to her grandchildren, Marilyn strives to always improve on what she has done and helps them do the same. Marilyn has helped her 4 children and 10 grandchildren with many livestock projects as well as everything from teaching them to sew to raising bees. Maryilyn's theme for helping the kids with projects has always been, "never give up." She has and shares the "learn by doing" attitude. She is encouraging, driven, and uplifting. She was always there to support her children in 4-H, and now you can find her following the trail of her grandchildren, cheering them on with their projects at the fairs.
