Dustin easily and naturally stepped into his role of 4-H leader upon completion of his youth 4-H career. He is the true example of bleeding green. As a 4-H leader, Dustin works hard to make sure that the youth in his club have lots of opportunities to explore projects, serve their community, serve in leadership roles, and learn and grow in a safe and caring space. Dustin also serves as a primary adult member of the youth-adult partnership committee for a junior high conference and teen mentor program called Simply the Best. His input and time spent are invaluable and the event would not run as smoothly without him. Dustin can be seen at many events, jumping in with a helping hand, and is always one of the last to leave, ensuring that all the pieces have been packed up. 4-H in Washington County is a better program because of volunteers like Dustin and Washington county is appreciative of his dedication, kindness and hard work.
