Dr. Pennie Crinion has embodied the 4-H mission. Pennie has been a valuable member of 4-H and the University of Illinois Extension family, serving the DuPage County 4-H program for over 25 years and serving as a leader of the DG Gang for 17 years. She has deep 4-H roots coming from a 4-H family as her parents were leaders and her siblings were heavily involved in the program. Her children, Maureen and Monica, were also active 10 year 4-H members. She values the 4-H program and the skills that it provides kids. Pennie has always been there to guide, support and encourage the youth and other volunteers in her group. She has served as a mentor to other leaders across the county. DuPage County appreciates the time and dedication that Pennie has provided to the program over the years.
