Mason County inductee, Morris Bell began his 4-H career as a member at age 13 and then on to a 25 year leadership role as club leader and fair board member. He and his wife, Doris started the Ducklings 4-H Club in 1948, where they both worked hard to maintain a club with at least 22 members. They even held an annual potluck for the members to get together and show their projects. In 1955, Morris became very involved in the building of the Mason County Fairgrounds where he put in a lot of time and hard work to make it happen. Though he is very humble about his contribution, Morris touched many lives through 4-H while enjoying every minute of it.
