Though Christine Erwin was never a 4-H member herself, she has contributed a lot to Clay County. Chrissy began her service to University of Illinois Extension as Extra Help in 1993, and then began in 1997 as a full-time 4-H Program Coordinator for Clay County. Chrissy started the Clay County Horse Camp in 1997 and initiated the Clay County 4-H BBQ, which has been the main fundraiser for Clay County for over 20 years. She has been the leader of the Panther Creek Pioneers for 10 years.
