Martha Benning of Montgomery County is a third generation 4-H leader and as she says, "4-H is in her blood". Since retiring as a 4-H leader of 31 years, she has been a board member of the Montgomery County 4-H Foundation, helps every year at the general show, volunteered to teach workshops, judges at 4-H shows and currently is leading a new sewing Spin Club. Marti is always there when 4-H needs a volunteer, ready to share her knowledge of cooking or sewing with kids. It is because of this untiring dedication to the 4-H program and the kids in the community that Montgomery County honors Martha Benning.
