Menard County is proud to nominate 4-H alumnus and volunteer George Becker for the 4-H Hall of Fame. He was an 11 year member of Blue Ribbon 4-H Club; 2 year Co-Leader for West Menarder’s 4-H Club; and 4 year member of the Youth Development Action Group. George has been a strong supporter of 4-H livestock projects and the 4-H Livestock Sale, having served on the Livestock Committee for over 25 years. Menard County is very grateful for George, and his wife Betty, for their 16 years of service as fair sheep superintendents, and longtime support of 4-H.
