McDonough County could not be happier to honor Wilma Payne as their Hall of Fame recipient. Wilma has been a longtime supporter in McDonough County. Her career in 4-H started in 1954. She was a 4-H member who took clothing as a project and served as a treasurer in her club. In 1978 she became a 4-H leader of the Eldorado Happy Kids. She continues to share her love for sewing by encouraging young people to learn. Wilma has served as McDonough County’s 4-H Clothing and Textiles superintendent for over 30 years.
