Bureau County is proud to nominate 4-H alumnus and volunteer Marilyn Burkman for the 4-H Hall of Fame. Marilyn's service as 4-H Fair Foods Superintendent has been instrumental in providing a positive, inclusive culminating event for youth in 4-H Foods projects. Marilyn's work with Bureau County HCE has provided outstanding financial and volunteer support for local 4-H programs, and ensures Bureau County youth will continue to have 4-H opportunities for many years to come. Marilyn has been a strong supporter of 4-H livestock projects and the Bob Talbot Memorial 4-H Sale of Champions, encouraging more youth to participate in livestock projects. Bureau County is very grateful for Marilyn’s service as a fair superintendent and longtime 4-H supporter.
