Julie Olson of Mercer County has been a 4-H Club leader for 24 years, and has served as 4-H Fair Secretary, Led Sewing and Flower Arranging workshops, and was 4-H BBQ Treasurer. She shares her knowledge gained from her life experiences and working on the farm with her 4-H club. She teaches the 4-H essential elements of positive youth development by providing a safe emotional and physical environment for her 4-H club members. She encourages them to develop self-determination, independence and generosity by modeling it herself.
