Jacquie Lueking of Clay County does whatever it takes to help young people excel in 4-H. As leader of the Odds 'n Ends Club and the Bits 'n Pieces 4-H Cloverbud club, she works cooperatively with the kids on group projects and service activities. When the annual horse camp was at risk, she took on leadership of a new 4-H Horse Special Interest club so the event could continue. Not only did it continue, it thrived with new speakers and workshops. She secured grant money including some from the Illinois 4-H Foundation to “make it happen.”
