Mildred Wills of McLean County was leader of the Saybrook Cook-N-Stitch club for more than 15 years. She has helped many young ladies with their sewing projects; and her husband would act as “the hem guy”, checking to see that the hems were straight! Mildred served as superintendent in the knitting area at the county fair and still helps as a judge’s secretary. She attended 4-H Congress in Chicago and years later served as a State Fair chaperone.
