Janet deserves to win this award because of her never ending support of the 4-H program, both in Winnebago County and 4-H in general. She has been involved with the 4-H program since her grown children were young and stayed with the club as their leader long after her children had aged out of the program. She is a very hard worker and prides herself on bringing out the best in our 4-H youth. Her club members adore her and her leadership style. She is a valued member of 4-H and Extension and serves not only as the North Main Rustlers 4-H Club Leader but also volunteers endless hours for the Winnebago County Extension Council where she serves as President. Her guidance, wisdom and willingness to help are all qualities the 4-H program values in a volunteer. She plans to continue her volunteerism with the 4-H program for many years to come.
