Scott County’s Geraldine McGuire is an “old school” 4-H leader. If it calls for members of her club to be in attendance at an event, she goes and picks them up and brings them. She serves on various Extension Committees and is a Scott county fair superintendent. Her club has been recognized for countless community service activities and beautification projects. Geraldine is the pseudo grandmother for her club members. Many alumni still call her "grandma." She is a true asset to the 4-H program in Scott County.
