Esther Buitt of Jackson County exemplifies commitment, dedication, and compassion for others. Esther says, "4-H had such a big influence in my life. I still use my old 4-H project books, especially the recipes from the cooking projects." 4-H demonstrations, exhibitions both at the local 4-H Show and Illinois State Fair, and community service activities were an integral part of her 4-H experience.
