Verlyn "Gus" Rinker of LaSalle County. Gus has been a volunteer since he was born! He has contributed countless hours to the 4-H program over the last 50 plus years, as a member, leader, and parent. His unwavering support has provided thousands of 4-H members the opportunity to learn, grow, and have the backing of a larger than life man. Gus Rinker has never said no to any work that needed to be done, he is a hands-on person that has never slowed down. His continued support of the LaSalle County 4-H program is invaluable!! He is a great volunteer to LaSalle county and we are proud to give him this honor!
