10 year member of the Kickapoo Ramblers 4-H Club
Mike Stanfield first participated in the Coles County 4-H livestock auction as a 4-H member in 1959. For more than 50 years he has been associated with the auction as a seller, brother, father, buyer, ring man and an auctioneer. Since 1980, Mike has volunteered his services as an auctioneer to Coles County 4-Hers. As the lead auctioneer, he coordinates the evening with Extension Staff, buyers, and 4-H families. Mike was instrumental in the 2007 50th Anniversary Auction Celebration and his auctioneering expertise accounts for the continued success of the Coles County 4-H Livestock Auction.
