22 year leader of the Palestine Prairie Pals 4-H Club
Laura Collier has always been involved with Crawford County 4-H. She joined as a youth member, met her husband through 4-H, and helped to support her 2 daughters through their 4-H programs. She is serving as the Secretary of Crawford County 4-H and Extension Foundation, is still leading a 4-H club, is an active member of the 4-H Council, and volunteers at the 4-H fair each summer. She does all of this while raising two daughters, helping her husband on their farm, teaching school full time, and being an active member of her church and community. Crawford County comments: "Laura exudes what we look for in a 4-H and Extension volunteer. She is a positive role model for youth and gives them a chance to expand their horizons through 4-H programs. "
