7 year member; 35 year club leader
After starting her 4-H career as a member in Kankakee County, Katie Grumbine has worked tirelessly as an adult volunteer and leader in Marshall-Putnam Counties for 35 years. She is a consistent and dependable volunteer who is always willing to jump in where she is needed. As a club leader, Katie has never been one to dictate exactly what the club will do. She promotes an atmosphere of creative thinking and effective planning. The club members are encouraged to come up with ideas, and then Katie guides them as they take over the planning of the event.
