Gwen Woods of Pike County and her immediate family have a history of over 200 years of dedication to 4-H. Gwen is honored every year at our achievement program for the countless hours she has spent impacting the lives of young people in her community and county. Her club was chartered in 1930 by Gwen’s mother, originally as a sewing club. Gwen has successfully incorporated young men into her program and works well in the extensive diversity of project areas. Being involved in the 4-H program nearly all her life, Gwen has seen many changes but has made the adjustments with grace and style.
