10 year member of the Lostant Indians 4-H Club; 27 year county youth advisor

Wallace Reynolds began his association with 4-H as a member in Tonica and Lostant where he earned Project Honor and State Outstanding awards. Mr. Reynolds began his 37 year career with University of Illinois Extension in the Lee County unit where he was responsible for the 4-H program. From there, he moved to the Boone County unit where he served as the County Agent, with responsibilities for the 4-H program, from 1960-1995. During his tutelage, the 4-H program grew in stature and in numbers of members. Some of his notable leadership activities include: fund-raising for 4-H facilities at the county fairgrounds, leadership on the White Eagle 4-H Camp and Northern Illinois 4-H Camp boards, and passage of several referenda to help support the leadership of the county 4-H program.
