32 year leader of the Shannon Shamrocks 4-H Club
When I became leader of the Shannon Shamrocks, my children were too young to be in 4-H, but they attended all the events.
This was mainly an agriculture club with a few girls that had livestock projects. Pricilla club was the girls club for cooking and sewing. In the 1970's everything changed and all clubs offered all projects. During the summer all the club's families would go on tours all over the tri-state area. Share-the-Fun was every club's dream to win and we did. At times being a leader for 32 years was a lot of work but the friendships and memories are the greatest reward.
