8 year member of the Rush Creek Rollers; 30 year leader of the Top-Notchers 4-H Club

For Betty, 4-H has been a family affair. She started her 4-H career when she was 10 years old as a member of the boys and girls club Rush Creek Rollers. This club emphasized agricultural projects. Betty remembers showing both her beef and dairy cattle at the fair every year. Betty was a 4-H'er for 8 years. Her fondest memories were earning a spot on the county's livestock and dairy judging teams that traveled to State to compete. In addition to her livestock projects, Betty remembers taking cooking and sewing projects as a 4-H'er.
