Sandy has served as the Leader of the Pin Oak Progressors for 42 years, where she was a charter member starting at the age of 10. She is an excellent volunteer that is always directing the youth she works with and providing an encouraging, safe, positive atmosphere. She has served as a mentor leader guiding new leaders in their responsibilities. She has provided assistance in many different areas for the program such as Softball Committee, Achievement Night Committee, General Projects Committee, as well as served at the fair and the treasurer of the Foundation Board. Sandy is always recruiting new 4-H members and leaders to her club that will have it's 50th anniverary this year. She is definitely an outstanding leader who exhibits great character and quality by teaching members responsibility, leadership, community service and trustworthiness.
