10 year member of Coal City Community of Grundy County; 20 year leader of Coal City Community of Grundy County
Ron Wills started his 4-H involvement in 1955 as a local club member. During the next 10 years he served on committees and accepted leadership positions in the club. He was part of the 4-H softball team and on the tug of war team. He showed poultry, sheep and beef. . He has been a volunteer for 20 years; rabbit and goat superintendent, and president of the fair association for the past 3 years. He has been secretary and president of the livestock committee. He currently serves on the extension council and fiscal board. Ron's daughters have been long time 4-H members and Ron serves as secreary of the Dads association of 4-H house. It is no understatement to say that Ron Wills has left a large footprint on the Grundy county 4-H landscape.
