Member in New York State; 17 year leader of 4-H in DuPage County
Paul Mandigo has spent the majority of his life involved in the 4-H program. Mr. Mandigo began his 4-H career as a 4-H member in New York State. He participated in gardening, fire safety, and livestock projects just to name a few. After moving to Illinois, he continued his involvement with the program by becoming a 4-H leader in DuPage County from 1978 to 1995. He served as both chairman and executive chairman on 4-H council in DuPage County. He decided to continue his 4-H involvement by becoming a member of the DuPage County 4-H Foundation. As treasurer of the committee for four years, he helped to plan and implement fund raising activities to benefit 4-H in DuPage County. He continues his support of 4-H Foundation and the 4-H program by staying actively involved in choosing 4-H recipients for college scholarships and always lending a hand during fair time. We are truly grateful to have a volunteer such as Paul Mandigo who displays endless support of the DuPage County 4-H program.
