Served as Carroll County's first assistant youth advisor for Extension; 25 year leader of Echo Valley of Carroll County
Mildred was a 25 year leader of the Echo Valley 4-H Club, from 1953-1978. The club was named after the Siedenburg farm. The club started out as two separate groups, one for girls and one for boys. The club was the first community integrated boys/girls club in Carroll County in the late 50's. Mildred served as the county's first assistant youth advisor for Extension.
