Retired Henderson County Extension Farm Advisor

Curt Eisenmayer is practically a Henderson County 4-H legend. Through his years as the Henderson County Farm Advisor (1952-1992) and still in his "retirement," Curt has been instrumental in supporting our 4-H program. Curt helped plan and deliver such events and programs as the 4-H BBQ (in its 49th year), WIEC Electricity Schools, Tractor, Concrete, and Metal Roofing Schools. He has had a 20 year association with 4-H Camp at Monticello teaching gun safety courses, as well as over 30 years as a volunteer instructor for the Dept. of Natural Resources Hunter Safety programs. In addition, he has spent approximately 20 years as the assistant beef superintendent in the Jr. Dept at the Illinois State Fair. On any given day, Curt can be found making improvements to the Henderson County fairground buildings and helping with 4-H events. Henderson County 4-H salutes and honors Curt Eisenmayer for his many years of giving to our 4-H program.
