5 year member of the South Dunham AGR's 4-H Club in McHenry County; 59 year leader of the South Dunham 4-H Club in McHenry County
Stuart Wells is a gentleman who truly believes in the positive qualities of youth today. He is well respected by other volunteers, 4-H alumni, and current 4-H members. Stuart has provided adult support to many youth who did not receive consistent support at their home over the 59 years he served as a 4-H club leader. He teaches respect, honesty, positive attitude, and quality workmanship to the 4-H youth. He takes great pride in being associated with the 4-H program not only in McHenry County but also the state of Illinois. Although Stuart's 4-H club disbanded two years ago, he is still actively involved in the 4 H program today. He attends all Fair Association Board meetings and assists Extension staff each year during the entire county fair-including set-up and dismantling of exhibits. He is a person who one can always count on to get a job done.
