9 year member of the Coal Valley Peppy Group 4-H Club in Rock Island County; University of Illinois Extension Staff, 1996-2004
I have known Martha Bazik-Rittmeuller as an employee of Extension for the past six years. Prior to that, Martha had a long association with Extension through nine years of 4-H membership. During Martha's 4-H tenure, she was a Junior Leader, attended leadership camp, and represented the county in state Communication competitions. Martha came back to Extension in 1996. She was brought in to close the county office, but instead succeeded in helping to pass a referendum. Through Martha's experience with Extension and the 4-H program, she is doing what she loves today. Martha and her husband co-own a winery and banquet hall.
