10 year member of the Alhambra Morning Glories 4-H Club in Madison County; 56 year leader of the Alhambra Morning Glories 4-H Club in Madison County
Not many people volunteer in the same capacity for 56 years. However Lucille Korsmeyer has done just that as a 4-H club leader for the very club in which she was once a 4-H member. Lucille was a charter member of Alhambra Morning Glories and still shows her dedication to that 4-H club. Both Lucille and her husband Lester have volunteered in various other capacities in 4-H-always with a cheerful and gracious attitude. Today, there are many present and past 4-H members that consider Lucille and Lester as their surrogate grandparents.
