65 year leader of the Lockport Loyals 4-H Club in Will County

Dorothea Eisenbrandt started the Lockport Loyal 4-H Club in 1941 and has been its Organizational Leader since that time. Ms. Eisenbrant has been the recipient of the Illinois Extension Award for Outstanding Volunteer (with more than ten years experience). She has educated hundreds of children as a 4-H Leader since 1941. At least seven of Dorothea's 4-H members have earned trips to the National Club Congress. Dorothea is the current "Dean" of 4-H Leaders in Will County and is our most respected volunteer. Dorothea Eisenbrandt is a local icon of commitment, accomplishment, and has forever held the best interests of Will County youth as her primary focus. Dorothea has been identified with the 4-H program since her youth and is one of the finest examples in the United States of a woman dedicated to the goals of 4-H Youth Development.
