Doris Schoenbein has lived out two vital words: longevity and commitment. She has a 59-year tenure-that still continues today-of serving as the leader of the Elmwood All Stars. Not only has she exhibited such a commitment, she has also encouraged the same in all those young people who have been a part of the Elmwood All-Stars 4-H Club. Mrs. Schoenbein lives each day of her life by the words in the 4-H Pledge. And she truly has given the wisdom of her head, the loyalty of her heart, the service of her hands, and the stewardship of her health for the benefit of her club and community and our county, state, and world.
