Did any of your 4-H project skills, experiences or connections help prepare you for your career path?
Yes. I worked in Ag Com for 20 years, then Ag Recruiting for 23 years. 4-H opened many doors through relationships I made.

What advice do you have for someone who wants to enter your career path?
Be tenacious and resillent with a hunter mentality.

What did you learn through 4-H that benefits you today?
Commitment. Follow through. Detailed.

How did 4-H contribute to your leadership skills today?
I serve in elected capacity as a Village Trustee and volunteer for community groups. 4-H taught me the importance of serving.

What advice would you give a current 4-H member?
Participate in everything. Try something out of your comfort zone and meet as people as you can. Have fun!!

Club Leader in both Moultrie and Macon counties. Foundation Board in Macon county. Consolidation committee in Moultrie and Douglas counties. Extension Board in Macon county. Judge for fairs in Macon and Moultrie Douglas. Co-founder of the Master Showmanship Contest now in year 25.
