Did any of your 4-H project skills, experiences or connections help prepare you for your career path?
I participated in public speaking in 4-H which lead to being comfortable speaking in front of groups and making sales calls in my current career.

What advice do you have for someone who wants to enter your career path?
Connections are vital. Introduce yourself and make connections wherever you go.

What did you learn through 4-H that benefits you today?
I learned meeting and teamwork skills. As a young 4-Her it was my first experience to meetings and teamwork to make an impact. Since then I have been apart of effective meetings with the goal to inspire teamwork and collaboration with a group of individuals. 4-H gave me the skill set to be apart of the community and insight to work with others.

How did 4-H contribute to your leadership skills today?
Whether it was taking care of livestock, bringing cookies to the fair, or community service activities, 4-H taught me leadership and responsibility from any and all positions. Leadership was created in every aspect through 4-H which I carry with me.

What advice would you give a current 4-H member?
Have fun! You only get to be in 4-H for a short amount of time. Don’t forget to have fun at fairs and with your projects.
