The skills learned through 4-H are the foundation for my professional life. In particular, animal husbandry, record keeping, interpersonal skills, and public speaking.

What advice do you have for someone who wants to enter your career path?
Education goes far beyond the classroom. Experiences are sometimes more important than a grade in a class. You will find lifechanging experiences in unexpected places

What did you learn through 4-H that benefits you today?
Animal husbandry, accurate record keeping, interpersonal communication skills, and self-confidence through public speaking.

How did 4-H contribute to your leadership skills today?
Learning it's important/necessary to step outside your comfort zone.

What advice would you give a current 4-H member?
Take advantage of resources and opportunities to explore. Use 4-H as a safe place to step outside your comfort zone and (at the same time) pursue your interests.
