
Pathways to Science Through Nature is a collaboration between the Cornell Lab of Ornithology; 4-H programs in New York, Florida, Illinois, and California; and the National Girls Collaborative Project to build support for citizen science in after school contexts, with support from the Noyce Foundation and Smith-Lever.
- Increase youth exploration of science and the environment through indoor and outdoor science activities.
- Youth will develop essential science process, interpersonal, and communication skills and personal creativity.
- Youth will explore science concepts of habitat, food webs, bird diversity and adaptations and life cycles.
- Youth will enhance their scientific thinking while developing a science identity
