How did 4-H contribute to your leadership skills today?
I have confidence to talk to people. 4-H encouraged me to share with others the talents I have learned through 4-H by encouraging others and helping as a 4-H club leader. I learned that everyone has the ability to do anything, if you have the guidance and leadership. 4-H encouraged me to try new things and not be afraid to fail. And if you fail, try harder.

Did 4-H instill a career path for you?
I learned about flower arranging through 4-H and worked in a flower shop for 17 years as a designer. I also worked for 12 years as a PreK teacher and my child care projects influenced me now to work as a classroom aide.

What advice would you give a current 4-H member?
Don't be afraid to try new and different projects.

Why should young people join 4-H today?

4-H is a great way to get confident in a subject matter to grow knowledge and skills. 4-H encouraged me to meet new friends and takes you to see different things.
