Illinois 4-H Leadership Camp is an opportunity for campers to participate in a variety of activities designed to help them understand the fundamentals of leadership, practice effective communication, work as a team, and become self-confident and motivated individuals. All activities promote Illinois 4-H and the principles of positive youth development—belonging, independence, generosity, and mastery. Participants will be able to explore their interest, develop new skills and make lasting memories with friends!
In addition to learning more about leadership, while at camp you can swim, boat, shoot archery, climb the rock wall, make arts & crafts, fish, participate in STEM activities, hike, make s’mores over a campfire and so much more! The evening activities will include water sports, a bonfire, college night tailgate and a dance. We have counselors in every cabin with the campers and staff providing programs at Outdoor Education, Waterfront, Recreation, Arts & Crafts, the Climbing Tower and Creation Station (STEM activities).
